The CheckMate Diabetes app is a free app that facilitates monitoring of blood glucose levels for people with diabetes (“Service”). This Service is provided by CheckMate Diabetes at no cost and is intended for use as is and requires account registration prior to use. The Service and the app are owned exclusively by CheckMate Diabetes, Incorporation. (“CheckMate Diabetes”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”).

We want you to enjoy and benefit from our Service secure in the knowledge that we have implemented fair information practices designed to protect your privacy. Information Collection

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Email, Friend's Names, Friend's Score, Age, Location, User's Scores. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. You can stop all collection of information by CheckMate Diabetes easily by uninstalling the Application and then requesting account removal by emailing us at

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you, and this Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other third parties, including products or sites that may be used by you to search results. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads. Log Data

Whenever you use our Service, we automatically collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

We use the information we learn from you to help us personalize and continually improve your experience with our app, including to:

  • Post your user generated content to our app as you request

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of CheckMate Diabetes. However, we will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Google when we have your consent to do so.

We will also share information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Google if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.


Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device internal memory.

Our Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collection information and to improve their services.

Children’s Privacy

CheckMate Diabetes’ Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, do not provide personal information to Checkmate Diabetes without providing us with consent from your parents. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will immediately delete these information from our servers. If you believe that Checkmate Diabetes has been provided with the personal information of a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, please contact us as soon as possible at so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. However, we will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
